Publicist

SATELLITE414 – an award-winning global entertainment publicity and consulting agency based in London – is seeking a publicist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate must be highly organised, pro-active, hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable with a can-do attitude. As a publicist you must be able to work alongside other team members to lead on press campaigns, attend events with clients, garner new business, set up interviews, and shoots whilst implementing an overall strategy for your clients. You will be able to assist the senior members of staff where necessary and guide junior members of staff in tasks and campaigns. You must have a thorough knowledge of the music and entertainment industry and a wide network of press contacts with at least 2-3 years’ experience leading press campaigns for artists. Whilst the role focuses on delivering campaigns for music artists, we particularly welcome applications from those interested in representing a diverse range of clients - including events, sports and screen talent as these are growth areas for the business.

The applicant must be based in London however the role is hybrid – a combination of WFH and the central London office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading on artist press campaigns
• Creating and implementing strategies for new clients
• Building and maintaining relationships with media across the board (music, film, fashion, culture)
• Building and maintaining relationships with creatives (photographers, stylists, creative directors)
• Oversee and manage the junior members of staff as required
• Work alongside and assist senior publicists on joint campaigns
• Attend events, gigs, press trips, awards ceremonies and photoshoots when required
• Managing relationships with labels, managers, agents and artists
• Bringing in new business on a regular basis
